Let's Take A Closer Look

What is it about Barack Obama that makes people like him so much? Honestly, I have no idea. The only thing I can come up with is that he's great at speaking the words that other people write. They say he's a man of the people. He wants to give free healthcare to those without insurance, he's a man of the poor and middle class, he understands the problems they face better than John McCain. Personally, I don't care whether John McCain's family owns seven houses, or if Barack Obama owns a 1.65 million dollar mansion which he acquired with the aid of a now convicted felon. Hell, I don't even care that the savior of the working class's household income more than quadrupled from around $990,000 to $4.2 million between 2006 and 2007. What I do care about is when a man who has a chance to make a difference doesn't.

In 2005 Barack Obama stated that hospitals terrorize the uninsured. It turns out he's witnessed this firsthand. The University of Chicago hospital charges the uninsured 350% MORE for the same exact care as those who are insured. Barack knew this, and he showed how great he is at solving obvious problems... he did absolutely nothing. Now personally, I want a president who I know I can rely on to make a tough decision. Obama's senate voting record shows, that on many tough decisions, he voted present many more times than he voted yes or no. Now combine the fact that he doesn't like to make a difficult decision with the fact that he wouldn't even take the initiative to fix a problem he knew existed in his own backyard and you have a presidential candidate who's got the decision making skill of a ten year old.

An ongoing problem for Mr. Obama pertains to who he buddies around with. While the left will tell you that friendships with a convicted felon, a terrorist, and a radical, extremely racist pastor are things of the past and shouldn't really matter, they're wrong. They just don't want to admit that the candidate they so blindly follow has a bad side. People say one of the best judges of character is in the company you keep. What they really mean is, one of the best judges of character is in the company you keep, unless you're a junior senator from Illinois with very little experience, millions of blind followers, and good oratory skills, because then it doesn't matter at all.

The last issue I want to cover is what many people tend to refer to as the "race card." Obama and his supporters are constantly criticizing others for being "racist." Before the democratic candidate goes around putting the blame on others I think he needs to look at the people around him, and in the mirror. Mr. Obama has around 90% of the African-American population supporting him. I'd say the other 10% was smart enough to say, I don't care if his skin color is the same as mine, if I vote for him, I can kiss my country, and my way of life goodbye. Obama's church pastor and "spiritual mentor," Rev. Jeremiah Wright even went as far as to accuse the government of infecting black people with AIDS as a means of eliminating them from the population. But in his 20 years of knowing the Reverend, Barack states that he hasn't heard and such controversial remarks spoken during church. That's like saying you've sat in Yankee Stadium for 20 years and never saw a team win the World Series! For a man who likes to condemn others for supposedly favoring one race over another, he seems to put a lot of emphasis on the fact that he's half black. I was brought up believing that race doesn't matter, and that people are people, no matter what their skin tone is, or what they look like. The only thing that matters about a person is their beliefs and ideas, what's on the inside, not the outside.

Barack Obama's gone across the country, visiting almost all of the SIXTY (yes, that's right, he thinks there's sixty) states in the United States of America. He's gained the support of millions, most of which don't even know a thing about him. This indecisive, racist, man, who likes to keep the company of criminals and terrorists is currently being looked up to as a role model and a leader by close to half of the population of the most powerful country in the world. In the end, it's your decision who you support, but I thank you for bearing with me while I delved a bit into the man behind the mask.

Of course, this isn't all there is to expose, you'll definitely see more in the near future, so, until next time check out this website for some insight on Barack Obama:
