This Deserved A Rant

Recently I received a message via Facebook, not hate-mail, but critique. At first I was a little confused. The message's author was a bit vague, simply stating, "You guys need to really get your facts straight." Upon asking the person to specify I received the following two replies.

"People really need to wake up cause our country is really in bad shape and people just talk without really doing there research. I didnt really know anything about politics but I have done my research to figure out why our country is such bad shape and you guys are really not going to make it any better by sayin no to Obama!"

"and MLK was not an Republican so u need to take that off the page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It's blatantly obvious that our country is in bad shape, but making those who succeed in the economy poor to compensate for those who don't will not help! For the most part, I guess he's right in a way he didn't intend, people do not do their research. The people in this country blindly follow any person who's willing to offer them economic "change" and they "hope" that the change will be good. By saying yes to Obama his idiotic followers are supporting an utterly outrageous idea that by taking hard-earned money away from people, the economy, which is supposed to make people money, will prosper. How in the hell can you expect to make money if all you do is get that money taken away? Simply put, you don't. The claim that higher taxes will cause the economy to prosper is ridiculous.

This person wrote how they didn't really know much about politics, until he did his research. Obviously the researching didn't help much because they still know nothing. Obama's plans to "improve" the economy include taxing the hell out of the rich and upper-middle class, distributing some of it among the lower-middle class, and the poor, some of whom do nothing to earn it, and then spend, spend, spending the rest on completely unnecessary government plans. The government shouldn't be spending any more money on anything, it just raises the national debt more and more and more, and we don't want the national debt going up anymore, it should be going down.

How can the country NOT get better if we say no to Obama? For God's sake Obama wants to plunge our country into another depression and people support him for it. When someone makes money they don't deserve to be punished for it, that's just ludicrous. He's inadvertently encouraging people to stop making money, because they're just going to lose most of it to the government anyway! His plans for the economy basically say, "You there, work your ass off to make millions, then give me over a third of what you just made so I can give it to someone who didn't do half of what you did. They deserve it for not trying to better themselves economically, while you don't."

Obama's plan for the economy is basically like playing Little League Baseball when you're in third grade. There's a championship game, and the team that's the best will come in first. But every other team in the league that didn't win the championship still gets a trophy so that they feel better. I couldn't stand that! If I lose I don't want to get a trophy, I want to be told to work harder and then next season I'll do better. I don't want to think that by not practicing, and instead picking weeds in right field, I'm still a winner. Because I'm NOT a winner, plain and simple, I didn't work hard enough to win, and I didn't DESERVE to win! I want to know I wasn't the best, because knowing that I can be better makes me want to become better. However, in the generation we live in now, the world doesn't understand that not everybody can win. They want everyone to feel good about themselves no matter what they do or don't do. At this rate the London Olympics might have to hand out medals to every single athlete from every single country, even if they don't come in first, second, or third place, just so they don't feel bad about themselves.

Now then... moving on.
"MLK was not an Republican so u need to take that of the page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
First off, grammar. It's first grade level stuff to know that you don't use AN before a consonant. An Republican makes you sound even more idiotic. Please, next time you want to criticize me, and the group I'm a part of, do it with correct grammar so you don't look like a dunce. I understand it's only one mistake, but as we all know, one mistake can make a huge difference. For the record sir, Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. WAS indeed a Republican. Want proof? Click here:

That should be enough on that topic.

I do have my facts straight. Do you?
